Solid for racing only IMHO. Clubsport would be a good upgrade as the standard ones do wear out - especially if you make track days a habit. I am starting to get a noticeable increase in driveline movement with standard mounts.
Bert will probably pop up with a price.

Part numbers are 911.375.043.07 for these mounts.
Bert Gear informed me that they are dealer only parts and so I was expecting the worst when I enquired at the OPC. However, they were reasonably priced at £29.31 +VAT each (Knock off 10% for the PCGB discount). I believe they are cheaper than the standard mounts...
I was a little disappointed that the transmission mounts on the 87-89 Carreras cannot be changed individually as on the earlier 915 transmissions. The OPC could only offer me a new transmission crossmember with new bushes (part number 911.375.031.09) at £369 +VAT (ouch !!). I declined...
The mounts should arrive this week. I'll let you know if I notiice any difference.
Cheers

P.S Thanks again to Steve Darnell for clarifying the above part numbers.
They seemed to have improved the overall driveability of the car by removing most of the driveline "shunt" I was experiencing when negotiating slow 1st/2nd gear traffic.
I haven't noticed any increase in noise in the cabin, but the engine definitely sounds different in a nice way, which is a bonus.
For all those of you who still have their original engine mounts on their cars, I would recommend this simple and relatively cheap upgrade.
Cheers
Anil
