URGENT - COOLING FANS ON

Cheers IceShark,

Point taken. Should have went on to mention that this was only recommended as an emergency repair to stop alarm going off due to voltage drop and to take it in to have the sensor (or whatever the thing in the radiator is called) replaced, but I didn't want to write a novel.

well temperature switch is replaced now, and the problem is sorted.

In the end i just kept the fuses 10 & 15 out for a week or so, and kept an eagle eye on the temp gauge - i ronically it reached it's highest in months on the way to the garage to get fixed. Top tip (learned this from previous experiences with overheating LCR) just put the windows down and the heater on full blast at highest temp, the gauge comes down quite quickly

it was the temp switch, however i was told by the person that fixed it that he has had to replace some relays in the last year or so as they are becoming more common to fail as well [:(]
