Value of low mileage 3.6 turbo

No only the 964 3.3 turbo S had the air intake. When my mate told me he was buying this car I had never heard of them. I thought they were all flat nose only. Like I said it really does not look any different to my own 3.6.

Graeme, this page (http://www.flachbau.com/opts.html) does seem to imply that the 3.6S model included the X99 rear air intakes.

I would net set to much store by what the flachbau site has to say. The total production numbers do not tie up with Porsche AG. Out of interest the chassis number is WPOZZZ96ZRS470212 which according to the site puts it very close to the Japanese cars.

The 3.6 Turbo S has the side intakes too - I've just seen a black one (flatnose) today at Goodwood. I believe it's the Total 911 featured car.

All the flatnose S models i have seen have had the side vents. It seems from the info that Graham posted that there is only one common feature to all S variations and that is the X88 package.Possibly the discrepency with Flachbau over numbers is that he includes the engines made for racing customers?

Jonny, if that's the case, then what is it that differentiates a 3.6 Turbo S from a 3.6 Turbo with X88 (like yours)... all these combinations confuse me!

If the yellow S posted up is one of the 17 non-flatnose S cars, then it only has the X88 package which means there is no difference! With Graeme`s help i am trying to dig deeper to see if my car is the same as the yellow.Watch this space..

After further checking there is nothing my car and the yellow one have in common with
Flatnose versions except the X88 package.I have seen the documentation from Porsche stating the car is a 3.6S and Graeme remembers his friend paying £136,000 pounds for it.I will attach a copy of the build sheet. There was also a dyno test of the car which showed 393hp.It would seem from this and mine that the 385hp quoted by Porsche was a minimum.According to a Total 911 article the X88 had some upgrades not mentioned on the Flachbau site which i am looking into. Now Watson my good man get under the car again !

The pictures of the yellow turbo seem to have the RS splitters on the front usually seen on the 964 Carrera RS 3.8, looks awesome.

The front splitters on the Turbo S were option X92. They are not listed on the build sheet of the yellow car,so maybe added shortly after?
