So list below your car spec and BHP for future group test.....looking for original car all the way to complete madness....

Good luck, Des!.. I have asked for this recently in a thread "More power- what mods have you got" which is only a few below this and while I am grateful to the 2 replies, I am really disappointed that after 119 viewings, it seems most people couldn't care about the subject. So, for the record (again[;)]) .................The last dyno run I have done at AMD (so not comparable with Weltmeister) showed 292bhp and 260 lb/ft. The car spec is:

AMD chip,
hot film,
K&N intake,
modified throttle body,
decat
g-pipe.

It should be noted that different RR's show different results so its always useful to state where the figures come from.

Ok, I will start the ball rolling with my 1992 RHD RS...

Previous owner confirmed that to his knowledge the car had a re-map (mapped for top end fueling) at some point but nothing else. Spec as follows:

Std engine
Std ECU
De-cat pipe
Primary by-pass pipe

Rolling road results (from Spa Porsche Day road session)
284.5hp at flywheel @ 6205rpm
250hp at rear wheels @ 6205rpm
337Nm @ 5147rpm.
Air Pressure: 977.8 mBar
Temperature: 19.8 degreeC

Hope this is of some use.

Last time I did this it caused all sorts issues/denials/unacceptance and thoroughly p....d me off and almost robbed me of my enjoyment of the figures.
I am slowly getting used to and re learning to drive the RS with new power etc but one must be careful and all that...................especially when I discovered why the RS felt so comfortable at SPA in May was down to the fact that the anti roll bar was indead connected except not to the body!!!! ................................................as the MOT inspector informed me when he failed it!
Once again a lesson learned and a good reason to make your own checks on the basics before attending any track days.
So back to Thread, figures below:

964 RS RHD Lightweight, tested at Ninemeister earlier this year after re map

348.1 BHP @
(316.1 at wheels)
321.2 Lbft Torque

Std 3.6 ltr with polish/ported heads, Schrik fast road cams, large throttle body with K&N etc and Motec........................First and Original RS+1 Pkg

regards
Raymond

Don't want to hi jack the thread too much but which one broke front or back? and how much did you notice it at Spa?

Just to keep midly on topic my car was almost original spec when dyno'd. just drilled airbox (and thats it, not even a k&n) and produced 259 flywheel from memory. So virtually bang on stock. Car now has cup pipe but no dyno results for that config.

Throttle body
Filmstar
Cat bypass
Almeras exhaust
F1 cone filter

Star Performance Rolling Road.

291.5bhp to DIN 70020
271 lbf-ft

979bar and 24 C

unknown German hot film kit
G pipe
different ECU - again unknown
288.5bhp @6104rpm
274.4 lb ft @4709rpm

JZ Machtech

Hi Laurence,
No for me it was worse than that.
I got a new clutch fitted in Nov 04, attended Oulten and Spa then MOT and it appears that the rear anti roll bar had never been bolted to the body, although bolted to the drop links and was resting on the undershield, by the repairer in Scotland!
Hence the warning.

Raymond

what about that leo Genelli front splitter
m11.gif
& that outrageoulsly expensive exhaust system, big wide wheels, racey gear lever there must be some other bits hideing somewhere

Me thinks you guys are being very nosey........

The exhaust system infact has a restrictor within.......didn't want to embarace you Shaun.[;)]

Hi Guys, my car has been maintained at JZ Machtec and I have owned it for 5 years. It is LHD with about 40000 miles.
The engine has never been apart.
I have drilled the airbox,
Standard filter,
Cat by pass,
Cup Pipe,
jz chip.
After the chip the figures were 281.7 Bhp 257.3 ft lbs 6th Sept 2003
In 2004 I had transmission oil changed to Red Line Synthetic 1 quart heavy shock 1 quart light shock. The difference was very noticable.
The car had a 12,000 mile service last November 2004 at JZ which included Disy belt and new Distributor caps. The car felt more responsive on the drive home.
Recently attended RS Rolling Road Day at Weltmiester and the figures were the best yet.
291.9 BHP, 276 FT LBS.
I suppose all these small mods add up and also the Weltmiester set up is second to none and has huge fan directing cold air onto the back of the car.
I would like to see a RS with Motec tested on the Weltmiester set up.
Jeff

My car is a LHD '92 RS Lightweight and has only the following:

cut away airbox
K&N filter
re-map
optimax 90% of the time

Std throttle bodies, exhaust including cats etc. I have spoken to the previous owners and the second confirmed it was remaped while in Germany but couldn't recall by who. The car had a recent service at Jaz (with Castrol RS 10-60w) and I had the car inspected there before I bought it - as far as they could tell all was std except the items mentioned above.

At a recent dyno day at Weltmeister the car recorded 300.3 bhp @ 6150 rpm and 275 ft lbs torque @ 5100 rpm. The guys at Weltmeister thought I could get a little more out of it with a re-map as the car was running a little rich but I was pretty happy with the current set up.

Jimbo!! You are alive!! Don't confuse slow driver with slow car, I can assure you there is nothing wrong with the car [:D]

Bit like me asling why you can't sell your RS - I am sure there is nothing wrong with the car [;)] and it is all to do with the owner [:D]

How is the Trophy?

Thanks for being so pedantic, it was a typo. Should be singular.

It is the original full exhaust that came with the car.

Regards

Was'nt being pedantic Feroz, just wondered if you had mean't cats or cat. Twin cat sports system is a possibilty and was in context to what you were saying. Sorry if it appeared that way.
