Ventilation Fan - Only Working on No. 4 ??

job done, really easy taken longer to upload the photos ;D

1; pull off the bulkhead seal (red arrow);

2; pull up the scuttle and locate the 2 screws holding it in rear one is a bit tight but a stubby phillips at an angle worked fine the screws werent tight;

3& 4; lift out, disconnect black plug (bit tight);

5&6; locate switches (red arrows) there are two of these ive only arrowed the left one but the right one is the same. i used a bit of 1200 grit sandpaper, flexed the blade of the switch carefully to allow the sandpaper in. didnt rub much - 3-4 strokes. then flipped the paper and did same to rub other side of contact. repeated this on both contacts of each swith then reinstalled it all and it works.

i guess you could use switch cleaner but halfords were out and the switches are similar to the leaf switches in pinball machines where the same technique is used.

go easy on the scuttle bend it up as little as possible mine was fine at about 40 degrees but I take no responsibility if someone splits theirs ;p

Not expensive from Porsche if it is damaged.
