Very Cheap (but promising ?) S2 for sale

Not a problem Oli , as long as anyone has a 'few' bob hanging around in the bank there are so many good cars around cheep now , ill just buy something better lol

Best of luck to the purchaser I say especially if he isnt a dealer ( whoever he is ) [;)]

James, no m8ee I havn't moved on by any means. I am positive I wont have another Turbo for sure but an S2 or 968 are always cars I'd have. The right Audi S2 would also end up in one of my garages if it came to me TBH
Me being me though I'll always keep changing them that will never change. Shame if I miss the winter meet through being Porkless though.

Fair question though I'm sure I have answered it before ?

Anyway, this is purely my opinion for me and not any reflection on any turbo drivers 'but' I'm a mature chap and I like a bit of safe fun but I really dont feel the need for 250 - 300 BHP etc. I'm not mad on the way most petrol turbo cars deliver their power either and of course they tend to do even less MPG than their owners like to enthusiastically quote.

I don't want to be hacking around like Richard Head and so need no more than enough power for good overtaking and a spirited drive but that's it. With this in mind I think a 968 ( or 944 S2) fits the bill and the Audi S2 is more a case of me wanting a 4 wheel drive classic car. I have only ever had one 4 wheel drive ( but driven more) and that was a turbo diesel people carrying slugger [:D]

Me getting bored with anything quickly and having had 2 turbo's is also part of the reason.

Regards

Mas
