I had a look for the thread you mentioned Oli but I couldn't find it! Do you remember when it was roughly?
Sorry, I've just had a look for it as well and I can't find it either. It's there somewhere, but not sure where!

One thing I will say is to not use copper grease on the sliders. Some have with ok results, but on more than one occasion I have had the semi seize as a result or seen others seize (like my 205 which came to me with a nearly new set of pads and discs). Brake grease seems to have more lubricating properties than copper and does not seem to seize. With a working and free set of sliders you should be in for a surprise with the braking performance.
DTI= Dial Test Indicator
Basically an analouge gauge which touches the surface and moves with on rotation and indicates the movement of the disc compared to "true" ( dead straight) measures thousands of an inch (or the metric equvalent)

Oli is correct regards "run out" when you are looking for brake disc running "true" you place a DTI gauge against the disc and rotate and look for uneveness which has a tolerance.
