Wow what a fantastic facility. I never imagined there would be so many lovely cars on display including Schumacher's 2002 winning F1 car.
On behalf of Region 16 Elaine and myself would like to thank James for organising the visit and inviting some of our members.
I must make the point that it was Derek that organised the event. As a serial Porsche and Ferrari purchaser froim Lovetts he had the contacts and made all of the arragements. That should have been obvious to all who attended.

Here is what I have written for the next edition of Porsche Post, prior to a larger article later in the year:
Visit to Dick Lovett Sporting. Some thirty Club members met at Dick Lovett Sporting Swindon on Saturday 25th August to view their new swanky facility, purported to be the biggest Ferrari/Maserati dealership in the world. We were not disappointed. Far from it. The whole event from the beautiful cars, including a rather lovely 997 GT3RS 4.0, to the yummy Danish pastries was simple excellent and I have received many reports from members thinking the same. A much fuller report will appear here shortly with some stunning photos taken by Su.
"We Have been invited to visit Dick Lovett's new ferrari dealership in Swindon. Derek has liased with them and has arranged for us to go."
As Derek does say it is a team effort and Derek has some great contacts and can arrange visits like the Ferrari one which everyone enjoyed and I am happy putting the info on the forum etc.
Most of our events this year have seen members from r16 coming along, I think it makes it more fun and also you get to know more people.
Thank you everyone for turning up.
