That viatrack monitor looks good.
It would be better to get it from the DME (the S2 does not have a separate KLR) - but no idea where to tap the knock signal from.

I haven't made my mind up what sort of counter I'm going to have on mine, the Clark one I want isn't available over here (well not at a reasonable cost). Given that SFR don't even retard the timing at 7psi, I figured mine should be quite safe at a lower boost setting with the conservative base map that John at Vitesse made. I'm going to start chasing a bit more power soon so then it will be a necessity.
