Polishing? I Wish! I've been making all sorts of bracketry to hold parts inside the engine bay that were never intended to be there, and wiring things up. It's about half done now... I'll be there tomorrow in the 306 [] that looks like it's been driven through a wall of flies and with a lovely (growing) crack in the windscreen []

Don't rely on me.
Mrs Diver has just come in and reminded me that it might not be very healthy of me to go to a car show after I've just been away from home the past 2 weeks [8|]
Apparently the grass needs cutting, washing machine is leaking etc........
I'll keep working on her []

Excellent weekend
Did not polish on Sat. drove down the long way round instead (180 miles) to buy a rear hatch of the bridge spoiler type......more bits to paint green[]
It was the wifes 40th. I promised I would take her out for a meal, Just forgot to tell her it was breakfast in Stratford-upon-avon[]
Southbound has the grey/green pinstripe material for my seats
Purchased a set of clocks in Green (924 turbo) to replace the yellow ones

It was a long way to go to sit and drink over priced tepid beer but, a good number of cars, good weather and, (most importantly) good company more than made up for it.
I took no pictures but extended my 1:43 scale 944 collection by two.
Apparently PCGB had a stand there, can anybody remember where it was?

over priced tepid beer
I agree...........but it was cheaper than the water...........ÂŁ3 lt.!!!!
I was all set to say you can't buy company of that quality, but you took the wind out of my sails somewhat. I thoroughly enjoyed it - it isn't often I get to spend several hours with others who share my affliction.ORIGINAL: John Sims

Hi 'Flamingeye'
Your shot 07.jpg has my black 'bridge spoiler' car in the foreground. Anyone got any idea whether those wheels were OE? And what the design is called? They appear to be genuine Porsche (size and offset stamped by valve) but I haven't noticed another 944 with them.
Ta for info.

These ones? They're Boxster wheels. I have a set in my garage I've been too lazy to eBay (bought them for the tyres for my cab about a year ago). Make me an offer if you like them...ORIGINAL: flamingeye
