Warranties

i'll talk to them tomorrow - warranty up quite soon.....to be honest i might take a warranty holiday as well (if i can) given the mileage i'm doing at the moment. will post details of what they offer etc when i hear.

seemingly wont cover an engine blow up thou. maximum £2500 PER CLAIM it says. whats happens if the engine goes boom!!!

interesting on the tesco front. What do u get covered for that thou. I.e does it cover engine blow up, is there an excess per claim, is there a limit on a claim????

It's a Tesco's 'Finest' product. [:)]
Waiting for the documents to turn up so I can re-read the small print. There are three levels of cover - 'Value' being the lowest. The top end cover is only available on cars up to 6 years old. I just scraped in being registered in Dec 2002.

Unlimited cover so engine blow ups and gearbox issues should be no issue. You can use a garage of your choice for repairs. There are typical exclusions for things like brakes and so on.
