Hello Ken,

May I be the first to reply to your post - not a 964 register member, just posting a test message here until Derek has a dedicated 993 forum set up [;)]

In the meantime, for testing purposes only, here' s a picture of my car.

Best Wishes

964 pictures are welcome at www.porschepictures.net but don' t have many - you can email pix to me and I will set up a 964 section on that site

What' s up with all these interlopers joining our forum? Is it that they realise the 964 is the best 911 ever?

Hello John - just wait until there' s a dedicated 993 forum - you won' t see me for dust! [;)]

Best Wishes
Chris

(By the way - your website is terrific - a big help to me before buying my first Porsche, even though it wasn' t a 964!)

Hello, everyone.

Usually it seems to be my job to help with avatars, but...

I don' t seem to have this ' upload my own image' button to select my own avatar.

Anyone like to help me out?

LOL!

I' m getting there - the mystery button suddenly appeared!

Now it won' t accept my picture, even though it' s the right format and small in terms of memory and size.

I will NOT be beaten!

My only quiery is how come you 964 chaps get your own personal Register section and the rest of us just get general groupings? Has Ken got another one of those dodgy pictures of the boardmembers, and is using it to no good?

the choice of forums is explanined in the PP article - new forums (for Regions and/or Registers) will be started just as sson as volunteers to moderate are avaialble - if you would like a new forum pleae contact the Regional or Register Director as appropriate and I will set it up

Re Avatars
you can only upload an avatar AFTER making at least one post to a forum (sory but its not possible to set it to accept without any posts!)

Hi John,
I' m having the same problem, trying to upload a picture.

I must read through the instructions in PP. I will let you know when I come up with the answer.

Best Wishes,
Ken
