The 655 Maintenance and Preservation Society proudly presents "Wellesbourne Wings & Wheels 2012" which will take place on Sunday 17th June 2012. There is a car entry fee of £5.00, for this you will get two free entrance tickets for the whole show.

"¢ Gates open at 1000hrs
"¢ Classic Cars & Military Vehicles
"¢ Slow Vulcan taxi at 1100hrs
"¢ Classic car trophy presentation at 1300hrs
"¢ High speed Vulcan taxi at 1400hrs
"¢ Pleasure Flights & Static Aircraft
"¢ Refreshments and Ground Displays
I will have all the information for this at CH tomorrow and on Thursday.
If anyone is interested let me know ASAP as we only have a couple of weeks to register.

If anyone needs an entry form just send me a message and I can send it to you. It is a doc file and I am not sure how to put it on here.
If you are going can you let me know as we can arrange to meet up and travel there in convoy.

I have been sent through some more information about the event.
They will be having the Avro Anson taking off, possibly a fly over by a Gloucester Meteor, a Vampire or Venom and a Dragon Rapide for public pleasure flights (all subject to servicablilty and the weather).

James, please put us down to attend. Could you please forward an entry form to me? To be honest the aeroplanes leave me cold but the drive up to Wellsbourne via Long Compton and Shipston is worth it alone. A convoy would be cool. Alan

I may be able to attend but won't know till nearer the day. Is it possible to turn up on the day with a Porsche to add to the display?

Edited to fix iPhone predictive text error.

Derek.  You don't list your bicycle under your name......have you really got one??! [:D]

Actually I have two. Perhaps your question should have been 'Do you ride it?' [:D]

Decision made

Arrival by air. Spoken with the tower and they are parking me with the Porsches! [:D]

Maybe have a few seats spare!

Just spoke to the orgaisers and they can accept entries on the day. However they request that they are informed by phone on 07804686222 (up to Saturday evening). So that They can get the paperwork/tickets ready for collection from the gate. They prefer advanced bookings as much as possible so they can organise the displays.

Hi Mel, PPR not required, but it might be a good idea to let them know you want to park on r/w 23 by the Porsches.

Thanx Derek -I'm in!![:)]

Just a reminder that there is not long left to pre-book for this.
If you are going it would be good to go in convoy and we could all meet at Cornbury House at 8.45. We ned to be there by 9.30 and it is only half an hour from Moreton in the Marsh. Please let me know if you are coming.
