Wellesbourne Wings and Wheels 17th June

This event is nearly here so if you are interested let me know or ring and book in. Today was supposed to be a wash out but we had a great time at Chuchill Car show. You can never tell with the forecast changing so much. The cars that were there were amazing from Rolls Royces, Aston Martins, Buggatis, all the british makes even a lovely mille miglia gullwing mercedes 300sl (in the car park!!). So come along you never know what you might see.

Hi James,
I'm planning to be there with the 964rs. We'll be away at an event the previous evening so will head across as soon as we get up and it's safe to drive!

I'll call the number to register details.

Many thanks,
Rich

Thanks Rich, will look foreward to see you there.
Got sent through some more info about tomorrow.

There has been a change in the time the public are allowed in. The gate will open at 0930, as we will have aerostars (6 Yak planes) doing a flypast at 0945 (hopefully a bit more) on their way to Cosford. The fast taxy will be at 1400 as the Meteor and Vampire will be flying over at 1430 followed by the Blades at 1520. These are subject to the weather which will hopefully be good.

If anyone is interested to come along tomorrow if you contact Avril her number 07804 686222 and she can put tickets on the gate and can collect the entry on the day.
I will be at Cornbury House for 8.45 tomorrow and we should be able to get there for 9.30 at the latest we should see this fly past.

Wot's yr ETA Derek?

I have a slot of 12:00 local. Expect to leave Turweston at about 11:40. We could meet up for a formation flypast (me on your wing) as I'm CAA qualified. Su will be taking photos.

By the way, don't forget to tell ATC you are with the Porsches. We are parking on the disused with the Club.

Just want to thank everyone for turning up it was a good day, not too many showers but seeing the Vulcan was well worth it.

Good to meet you James and thanks for organising the PCGB presence.

Just before we left, after the afternoon Vulcan run, Avril from the organising team popped across to thank you for the great display of Porsches. You weren't around but I said I'd pass on her gratitude.

Thanks Rich. I managed to catch up with her later, we can make it an annual event and hopefully get a few more there next year. I must also thank Les for passing the word on and bringing a group of cars.
Hopefully see you soon keep an eye on the forum for what we upto this year.

Good to see Mel with his 'Reliant' Robin 3 wheeler. Pity it was not exactly like Del Boy's one. Standby for photos in PP
