What age Boxster Owners?

53 with white hair - and enjoying the Boxster as much as it is possible to do.

Feel like a far younger person when the sun is out and the top is down.

Young and upwardly mobile...middle aged and maturing nicely..or over the hill and reliving your youth.

What age are you Boxster drivers?

Alan (age 46)

Who is the oldest Boxster driver on this forum?

This Cayman driver is thirty twenty seven

Ceri (daughter) is 33 and bought her first porsche (a 1983 924) when she was 25, owned it for nearly 9 years and traded up to a boxster last November ... and has never looked back!

Peter (father) is 63 and has owned his boxster for 3 years, always said that his dream car combination was a 911 and a range rover, has managed a boxster and a land rover 110 defender so nearly there!

38  - thought I probably wouldn't be able to afford one when I hit mid-life crisis age so decided to get one while I still could.

Mine is a mid-life statement, not a crisis. [:D]

I'm 54 and bought the Boxster at 52.

38, best car I've ever had. It's an aspect of my life that makes me count my blessings every day for being a lucky b*gger.

Not as brilliant as my wife and kids but even my wife doesn't go from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds (very often).

In my Cayman S on the run in to Cirencester this morning from Burford, three Boxsters and two 911s came the other way. Only the 911s responded to my flash and wave but I did notice that they were driven by men whilst two of today's Boxsters were driven by women and one by a person of uncertain gender. Could any of the Boxster drivers have been Daro911? :ROFLMAO: For the record it has been a lovely day today and all the Boxsters had their roofs up......[:(]

I hate that.

When i had my mx5 the top was down any chance i could get. I used to notice that the rival MGF drivers alway had there tops up, prob ashamed they'd bought a rover.[:D]

What a great response to my question.

So, here are the results....so far.

The sprightly (Insatiable) Glenn at 69...

closely followed by Sailor and Paul Judge at 66

At 63 we have Peter Turton

and bringing up the rear for the over 60's club is Kitchens at 60

At the other end of the scale we have Sam77 at 28

and the baby of the Boxster bunch drtowel at 25.

I'm sure the marketing team at PCGB could have some fun with this simple data.

Thanks for the replys.

Hello everyone,
Sorry to spoil the party, but-
Bought my 2.7 Arctic Silver Tip.auto in 2002 as a 70th birthday present for myself 'cos the children said they couldn't afford such a gift. Collected it in Zuffenhausen, and believe its the best £40,000 I have ever spent, apart from my first house which cost £2,300!!! In July I will be 74 and I still get a kick out of driving the car, Jacqui says the grin on my face has to be seen to be believed. Age is all in the mind, though sometimes it does seem to affect the body!!
happy motoring to you all. [:)]

As one who regularly waves to or waves back to Porsche drivers, my experience is that 911 drivers rarely wave back an no cayman driver has acknowledged me yet. Mind you, most of the latter are usually driving very fast and probably trying to persuade themslelves that they were right not to buy a 911 [;)]

Just turned 27, changed my 1.6 Golf for a new 2.7 Boxster, although it is a company car (paying heavily for it!) but it's worth it!!!

I was 26 when I bought my first one and 29 when I bought the S.

Sadly at 31 (scarily close to 32) my dream boxster isn't on sale privately yet - but it will be - hopefully soon! [:)]

Im 32, Said i would have a Porsche when i turned 30 bought it and picked it up on my 30th birthday[:)]
