What will be as good as 997 that seats 3, help!

Thanks I was thinking about an 07 Bentley Conti GT, can't afford a V8. inside is beautiful and can get a good one for £50k. Think it will only do about 10mpg which is probably worse than a Cayenne. My 997 does 15mpg around town.

Can't afford a new V8 either, but don't tell the salesman who is waiting for the demo to come in, so i can have a test drive. If its good might wait a few years and wait for it to hit 60k. I looked at a Conti before buying my 997, figured the car was too big for us now as the two kids were newborn and 5 last year, so i've still some time left before they outgrow the Porsche. Luckily my wife is small so can actually get in the back of the 997 good luck with the search btw a mate had a maser straight after a 997.1 and only kept it for a few months - nothing to do with reliability just wasn't impressed - he swapped for an E63amg

You'll get more like 18 - 20mpg from the Cayenne GTS - mind you I got 23mpg from the 997S

Had a Range Rover Sport supercharged on loan for a day whilst the Disco 4 was having its first service. I had always fancied the RRS but the missus thinks its a bling pimps car. However, a day of driving it on motorways and country lanes was a useful excercise as it was like driving a brick S---house, the tyre roar was horrendous and the parking brake/gear stick were in awkward positions. Footballers choice of ride probably sums it up best! Trust me, it was a welcome relief to get back in the Disco which is nothing short of perfect. Two of my clients have chopped in their RRS's for Discos this year having been out in mine. I'm sure the Cayenne is a good 4by4 but difficult to come to terms with its sheer ugliness.

yes and even 9 months pregnant she got in the back .......... mind you did take a while to get her out again!
