yes touching up any panel would be difficult especially with a 2pk paint but luckily for me I am not touching up anything . I'm spraying a complete panel (sill) so its not an issue as every single panel on a Baltic Blue car always looks different in bright light
yes peanut,,,
same reason as i am now having the whole car painted instead of a few panels as i have been told that metallic Tauben/dove/baltic blue is a very hard colour to match so same situation as my last guards red s2 only this time all the windows are coming out! and all new rubbers and the same semi-retired chap is doing my present s2 with the chaps from my specialist over-seeing the work,,,,,,,jasonp

As it is just the textured sill you should be fine with something close. You are right that the angle and the textured finish will help disguise any mismatch. It sounds like Yeovil Finishes will scan your filler and mix from the result - happy days [:)]
I'll be a lot happier if the new strainer, pump and fuel filter I fitted today doesn't leak when I test it tomorrow.
Doing that sort of work with less than a foot of space under the car out in the weather is a young blokes game. I'm getting to old and stiff for this cr*p these days [:D]

I'll post back when I've been to Yeovil finishers as their prices are exceptionally good

The last paint shop I took it to for a quote said the latest paint on my wing has more green in and the paint on the bonnet had more magenta in it [8|]
