wheel nut/bolt grease

Unless I'm missing something Richard, that's a bit inconsistent of Porsche. Different design teams with different takes on the matter perhaps.

I'll stick to at least being sure that the threads run down easily by cleaning off any corrosion with oil at minimum but I prefer to grease with copper or aluminium grease. I realise that it may mean that I have to avoid buying a 4X4 or Panamera but that's no hardship.[:D]:ROFLMAO:[8|]

They work well then?

The Cayman, a car for all seasons. Why didn't I think of winter tyres before buying the Macan?

At least I can transport two people and all the golf gear now though.

Well Dave I don't play golf but my archery kit fits in the rear luggage compartment with room to spare and yes the winter tyres ( Michelin Alpins ) work great

and when I've only got my own kit to transport I can manage with the Cayman; electric trolley on top of engine cover, wheels, battery, clubs and big bag in boot - have to take some clubs out of bag first though!

And on the Le Mans trip this year we had tent, folding chairs, airbeds, foot pump, sleeping bags, cold box, 4 instant BBQ's, single burner Gas stove, two sports bags of clothes, tinned food and then inside the cold box, meat and beers plus some beers outside of the cold box. Some clothes loosely packed, girlfriend in the passenger seat etc and yes it was in the Cayman. But that was easy compared to the two couples we met at a service area near Reims, they were travelling to Sicily in a MG TD and a MG TF
