Hi Adam
Though I have not done the correct VIN research, your car would most likely have come with a period Blaupunkt Berlin, Bremen or Toronto radio/cassette unit to accompany the built-in 4/6 speakers and additional amplifier and crossovers, if specified. These radios are occasionally available second hand, though I have seen some asking a shade under £500 for a working unit ! Have a look and see what's on offer on the web...alternatively, you may choose a period-looking modern unit from the many available or even the latest Porsche Classic with sat-nav!

Hi Keith,
Thank you for your kind reply. I was thinking about you over the weekend :)
Yes, you are right. If this is the case, I may go for a classic looking but a slightly moderner unit. I am looking at a "Becker Traffic Pro 4720 NAV/Radio/CD player". It's got radio, CD and Sat nav....
Thank you again for your helpful suggestion.

Hi Thank you for your reply.
Sorry I missed your reply on the 1st Feb 2016. As it is on the 2nd page and I didn't notice it until today. That's why I mixed your reply with a new reply. Sorry.
It is a great help to let me know the original radio type. And I liked to have a CD player at least so will go for a later Becker probably.
Many thanks.

You can pick up a nice used Becker Indianapolis for £249 from Rob Marr on a well-known internet auction site. I replaced the original Blaupunkt radio/cassette (Canberra RCM85) and auxiliary Quadro amplifier from my 1990 964 C4 with one of these. It looks absolutely spot on. Or you are most welcome to have the original Blaupunkt kit that I took out.

Hi
Thank you very much for pointing the right directions to me. However, I've just sorted myself out a nice Becker Traffic Pro with Sat-nav CD.
Hope it's working nicely.
Thank you all,
Adam
