Where was I ?

Thanks, the pics do the job and give a second and third chance to notice things that may become important.

Even the chance to take them was exciting ... sad or what ? !!

Fantastic car, but the only thing missing from the photos from a reference point is the front luggage compartment carpeted floor, which came on the regular RS, never came with the CS...maybe they have removed this at the time of photos for cleaning etc...

So, an old car that has not been driven and therefore looks like new. What is there to marvel about? Are we that sad? [;)]

One thing to marvel at is the opportunity to see, without fear of error, how Porsche built them.

This is a great help when trying to return a car to it's original condition or verifying the originality of a car one is considering buying.

It can equally (for different reasons) be seen as tragic ... !

I guess you are in the "tragic" camp ?

Another thing to marvel at is the obvious effort to which the original owner went to keep it absolutely virginal. He obviously thought this was worth the salt --- and one has to admit that his efforts have been amply rewarded. Better than cash in a pension plan ??

Whether tragic or not, it is still to me, a wondrous thing ... [8D] ... though a wondrous thing that I could not contemplate buying !
