Where will the lunacy end .........

Human beings have rather short term memories, at some point the bubble will burst again.

All the 964s are all gone Scottys bought them all[:D][:D][:D] long live the 996rs s better car by long shot last of the real racers[8D] [8D] cheers G

Having owned both LHD & RHD 964RS I understand the rise in prices and they are rare but whether they are worth it or better that other cars well It depends what you want to do with them.
As prices rise they will get used less as intended but the question is how are they being procured, cash or borrowings?
When interest rates go up and they will that may stretch some investers some and then......?
I do think std 964/993 are following trend for same investment reasons as above but although low production numbers as most aircooled are they are not RS variant.
Interesting times ahead for savers with cash to spend that interest rates may not effect.....just my thoughts

996GT3 RS indeed a great car for very different reasons, this is a much faster GT3 racer as the title Porsche gave it, not sure where the RS bit fits just GT3 would have been good, but the accountants would want to maximise every penny from the Brand.

I had a MK1 GT3, great car, took it to Spa must have gone through 20 tanks of Gas, two sets pads, set of discs, brake fluid change, and a holed radiator... could not wait to sell the car. Returned to a 964RS, not as quick but certainly fun mixing it in the corners and being faster out ....

Having had now nearly 40, 911 The 964RS by far is the best all round journey man in Carpet lightweight spec, the car on standard suspension keeps you on your nerves, exciting, rewarding, forgiving, you know when you get it right.

Values have been too low for many years and are only catching up, like an unfavoured postal district beside an expensive address which is now affordable.

Let's say it's the Deptford Boy Racer competing with the neighbouring Ballastic priced Greenwich (993RS) yes a bit more hard core and a nice bit of rough!

Lets put a pint on it then. Also unless you know someone you should never cast aspersions on their ability to buy or repair cars. Just saying.

based on some of your comments I have no interest in getting to know you.

And after looking at your posts I wouldn't want to know you either Sir. Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I was in France over the weekend.

HOLED RAD that's down to common sense for £12 u can fit mesh !!!! and faster out the corners ...my arse [8D][8D][8D][8D][8D]

Getting the Thread back on topic, the example used originally a 964RS Touring, was probably not the best example as a very rare collectible car and the long time undervalued 964RS generally, which are actually surpassing these prices particularly Cup and RSR models .....
