time for a change......

but I'm just looking to change the pairs of exhaust boxes in the search for more sound and maybe a bit more performance or at least not losing any, but to ensure I can make the odd track days that means Gert's RSR's are out for that reason...

so what are my options...... Cargraphic ? Techart ? ??

You could try Dansk, beautifully made, or so I am told, but I found them too quiet for sports boxes. Nice sound but not what I had hoped for but then that is far less likely to cause you problems with track days.

I changed the Dansk mufflers for RSR's and certainly got a better sound but I would hardly describe them as loud (the RSR's seem a lot quiter than the Porsche sports exhaust I had on my 996 - now they were loud and sounded gorgeous).

Before discarding the RSR idea I would check out decibel limits and supposed output. I have been to a few track days at Croft and the RSR's are genuinely quiet against some of the beasts I have heard on the track.

Hope this helps.

interesting........

in view that I've switcched over the last 12 months to more driver training and euro track days.....

I guess there are enough noisy track days out there to keep me happy....

one for me to ponder !!
