Which would you choose?

Its LHD and its got the US spec rear bumper which are not ideal.

For £2500ish you`ve a nice car (with a carpeted dash board??)

Another £3000 on top if its spun the number 2 or 3 bearing probably requiring a new short engine (less if you do the work yourself) or even less for a crank regrind and matched shells etc but I reckon its been caned and then you`ve a lovely car but try and sell on at around 5.5 to 6K and it wont make it.

Buy a £6k RHD that hasnt been messed with instead I say.

Theres a loverly Silver Rose at the beginning of this thread, high miles but still going strong with full history and lovely nick for £4000

Should never let miles put you off, these cars are good for 500k most that have been driven and cared for are approaching 200k now, mines at 171k as of today and still does like it should

Tony

I wonder what the engine mods are? - looks like a bit more than just an "induction kit"

Very poor ad - 3 photos, one a pointless shot of the gauges, another of a slightly grubby engine bay that hints at modifications, no internal shots and only one external shot.

From the phone number it looks like the car is in Derbyshire somewhere, quite close to me.

No indication of advert age either, could be five years old.
