The route had a good mix of roads and the section across the moors to Hetton le Hole was excellent. We managed to lose the rest of our group just after Castleton (we actually went the right way; they followed Kenny), so drove across the moors trying to catch the group in front at a pace which dipped the economy a little!
See you all on Wednesday evening.

Excellent food & plenty of it. Park & Ride into Whitby for a cheeky Ice Cream then a gentle run home.

Has anyone contacted the police to plead our innocence, or would that just attract unwanted attention? I remember two or three bikes ripping past me, who were stopped by an unmarked white BMW, but no one in our group had any reason to attract the police.
