There are currently 4 for sale nationwide in the trader.
Should I expect to pay a premium... or are they not that sought after?

I'm not that bothered about the engine size... 2.5 will be cheaper to insure as this will be a replacement for my daily drive... 911 will be stopping.

Importing one from Japan, could be an option...

Anyone know of the downsides I should be aware of?

If you were selling to a dealer, then there is no demand.

As you are buying however...[:D]

Thanks Marco...

I know you'd be along with facts and figures.[;)]

Will you let me in the Boxster register when I finally get one?[8D]

As it's you - only a tenner [;)]

Well there is our old 986 (2.7 tiptronic) which was sold approximately 2 1/2 years ago to someone in Liverpool - there was a 986 millennium model year 2000 lived in the next road, but that has moved - don't know where (this one passed through Specialist Cars Malton some time ago) Now there is our current white one a 987 which was delivered in 2005.

At this present time I don't know of any others but there is possibly one in the Yorkshire area.

Sold our first white 986 immediately after one small advert. JCT didn't want to take it in p/x so received considerably more for it privately!

Good luck in your search - think its the best colour!

Have seen a Cayman in white - looks much larger in that colour.

John Holmes

When did you see it?

Its just had a run down to Hull today and then to Patrington for lunch meeting with Yorkshire region.
