When did you see it?

Its just had a run down to Hull today and then to Patrington for lunch meeting with Yorkshire region.

It was a while ago, last Summer I think. Having a senior moment can not remember where but can remember it was outstanding, Could have been in East Yorks area Whitby way?

Yes it will have been our white boxster - live in the Scarborough area of North Yorkshire.

Has at least 3 coats of Zymol to keep it in showroom condition - although white cars are easier to keep clean than black.

When I ordered the new 987 I did consider another colour but our favourite was white and glad I didn't change.

Hi, does anyone have any idea how many white 968 Boxsters were made in white?

I'm only asking as I'm on the hunt for one....

This is a cool looking example "Ice Cube Cool" [;)]

I went to OPC Mid-Sussex yesterday and placed a deposit against a new '08 Model' Boxster S in Carrara White with Two-tone full leather interior in Black/Stone Grey. I was inspired by the following:

It's going to be 'different' but it'll be noticed![;)]

Del stunning and very brave spec ... I am seriously tempted to have my 6th Boxster in the White also [8D] I am waiting for the face lift to be confirmed but so far I am assured I am looking at delivery September 2008!!

The '08 Model', with whatever changes that brings, will be built when the factory reopens after the Summer recess - so all cars for September 07 build, and delivery to the UK from October onwards. Whilst OPC Mid-Sussex are understandably cagey about what the '08 Model' will offer, I'm encouraged by the following:

I don't think that Direct Fuel injection will be embodied on the Boxster yet - as the 997 will take the update lead on that area; but, the other changes will be welcome, whatever they are - and even if those shown in the link don't arrive on my car!

Based on the current option list, my car will be equipped with the following:
[blockquote]
Bi-Xenon lighting system, wind deflector, roll-over bar in exterior colour, cruise control, fully automatic climate control, heated seats, floor mats, 19-inch Carrera Sport wheels, three-spoke sports steering wheel in leather, Bose Surround Sound System, PASM, sports exhaust system and short shifter.[/blockquote]
I'm not fitting PCM or telephone as I had both in my previous 987S and 997 C4S and wasn't impressed by either. The screen looks good, but mapping upgrades are expensive - if they're made available - and Porsche doesn't have a strong history of supporting its satnav systems for long. For the price of a new disc (were one to be available), I could buy a new Tom Tom or equivalent with the latest mapping and also have speed cameras etc displayed. Moreover, until Porsche adopts Bluetooth as its mobile phone interface then I'll make do with a simpler and cheaper solution.

You won't regret having a white boxster - always asked what model of car it is because it looks so fantastic - even in Europe - young lads shouting "nice car sir" when touring through Spain and France. Turns a lot of heads when "posing" along the sea front here - best part about it - if it was stolen it would not get very far in this town.
