Will this fit?

he's counting!...badly but I think he's counting!...the jokes on who?[:D]

as a matter of interest how much are you using it Simon...thats the RS!

Is it April 1st already?

Wait 'till I tell my register...:p
(Wonder if it's too late to amend my PP report...?)[8D]

..Neons anyone....who's the daddy

Sussed at last[:D] And yes I was counting. However, I really messed up because Des is at the curry night and I didn't get him! I just thought everybody needed a little livening up. After all, we drive the best car out there so we should be the ones having the most fun [:D]

The neons were going to come out right at the end if nobody had sussed me. Before that, I had found loads of images of alloy interior bits to stir the pot and had researched some part numbers for suspension parts to "soften" the ride. [:D] Maybe to amuse Neil I might have asked how difficult it was to convert an RS to the Touring spec [;)]

And no, its not April 1. Wait for that one to come around. I just hope I haven't upset anybody...........................................................NOT!!![;)]

And yes, James, I do get to use the car - two or three times a week and I still keep coming back for more. I really do believe that the car is more civilised than most people think but then again, I am probably barking mad, as this thread has shown

Can't wait to get it on a track. I was going to take the car to Olton Park next Wednesday but its a long way to go if the weather is bad and I hate Olton in the wet and cold. So instead, I am hoping to do an airfield day at the end of next week. Hope its dry.

Ashtray...cigar lighter... clock... well spotted Simon! Some good definitely came from this thread. Both are now BINNED!!!!! How could I not have noticed these trangressions from the purity of RennSportedness.
[]

[:D]

and i'm sure Racing is a thirsty activity !

IIRC some of those race cars do have drinks bottles..

so cupholders would be ideal [:D]

Don't panic, Sundeep. I have realised that what is needed is a camelback perminantly fitted to the rear of the seat. A perfect accesory that should be offered by Porsche and it could even double as a colostomy bag holder if the need should arise (no offence intended) [:D]

Then you could fill up at every pitstop, never go thirsty and keep the car neat and tidy!

Some rapid back pedalling there Simon -I don't believe a word!!![:D]

Binning the aforementioned items could save weight on a real car but as has been said before, your RS is a "virtual car" and no real weight anyway, so no gain by removing them ?

And a big KERLUNK in Hull has happened as the rather large penny dropped!
You certainly had my pants down there and I am proud of it. I was still muttering to myself about how someone gets a race car then wants to stick on loads of bits to make into a normal 964[&:]

No offence taken and my postings have gone up a bit!

How many do you need for four stars?

Regards,

Neil Eldred

LOL, very true. Luckily, I have been getting virtual bills from Andy as well, so I quite like the arrangement to be honest [:D]

When the Baron becomes corporeal, so will the invoices - that'll be a shock []

That said, the ashtray and clock are troubling me. They could have nicely blanked some bits off, eh?

You could take out the clock and put in one of those devices that they have at fast food places for storing the drinks cups and use that and a flask [;)]
At least it would be functunal.

Neil Eldred

Now simon what you really need is some nice soft suspension to stop those bumps from upseting your drink in the first place. May I suggest standard C2 suspension and 16" wheels for this very purpose![:)] That will of course leave you with some uniball shocks and stiffer springs and some silly lightweight mags that I will be happy to take off your hands for ................................ a cup holder and a can of pepsi (light og course)[;)]

I have a Roof Transport System for cases, skis, snowboards etc that will fit the RS if you want it. Might even fit the mother in law for the Xmas dinner outing;O)

Guaranteed to slow you down due to added wind resistance at the slow hairpins.

To fit attach the rack ski fittings, put the boots on the MIL then clip her into the bindings on the skis while they are attached to the roof rack. Then off you go! Tell her to tuck otherwise the bindings may release on dual carriageways.

See for sale if interested.
