Have a look at the blade, there should be pressures points where the force of the arm applies pressure to the screen. If you've been running around in the autum weather you can get road stuff blocking up the blade.

This creates a point on the blade that will not touch/wipe the screen.

If you take the blade off and run it under a WARM tap paying close attention to these points it usually clears the issue. For a little added extra WD40 frees these up a little more - But only a tiny bit, or you will put lots of smears on the screen when you wipe...

Tip to all, put a cap full of Meths in your washer bottle, it will help with the salt during these nasty days... I feel like Kim and Aggie!
