Winter driving

We had quite a bit on snow starting at about 11am on Christmas Day and with my 944 being my only car and needing to pick up my daughter , I set off on the 40ish mile round journey and it was pretty hairy at times especially on the country roads as later on in the day it just became an ice rink but by today about 120 miles covered over Christmas and the car is in one piece but is a nice shade of black must admit there really are some lunatics who drive at mind boggling speeds in zero visabilitly, oh and saw a really nice 968 today in Preston who flashed and waved - rare sight seeing a 968 and acknowledgement - must be Christmas spirit[:D]
