hm... pretty compeling video (does assume you don't adjust driving style). Would be interesting to see same test on wet. My summer tyres are sure going to have a problem on that Silverstone Ice Hill on Feb 13th....

Nope - in factr more reason to go[:D] However it does make one wonder if getting specific insurance for this trip might be a good idea.......

It's all very well agreeing that winter tyres are the way to go, but have you tried to buy any? I can't find any N-rated or otherwise for 19" wheels and my OPC says 18s won't fit on my 2009 C2S so there's no point buying smaller wheels (I'm not sure I can rely on the accuracy of that opinion since it comes from a technician who didn't strike me as the sharpest tool...). Anyone else actually bought any?

Well, the configurator does not allow you to order a Gen.2 C2S with 18" wheels, so I guess he could be right. The "standard" wheels on the C2 are 18s though. Sounds like if you really want winter 19s, you'd have to order them in Germany, Scandinavia, etc. Could be a tad expensive!

The C2S 19" Winter tires (Note you cannot fit chains on the 19" rim):
