Wipers Inop?

Just a question though - how much, if any, did you need to "bend" the frame below the windshield through which the wiper pivot goes?

Probably needed to bend it about 3/4mm to get the pivot out, then bend it back once new motor/frame was in. It's probably not exactly the shape it used to be but it made no issue whatsoever to the wipers getting bolted back up and of course is completely hidden once re-assembled.

The right thing to do is obviously remove the blower cover, but when this is not an option you can revert to my method!
