Witney Motor Show - Witney - 2nd July

Apologies for the silence the last few days - we've been on holiday with limited network coverage where we've been [:)].

Gordon, it would be great to have you and your Speedster along.

Graham, the show is organised by the Witney Motor Club and will be held on Thursday 2nd July at the [link=https://goo.gl/maps/8QpBC]Henry Box Playing Fields[/link] Ducklington Lane, Witney, Oxon, OX28 4JF. The opening times are between 18:00 and 21:30 hours. Members are welcome to exhibit their Porsches within our area which can accommodate about 10 cars. If you wish to do this entry will be free but you will need to arrive before 17:30. We will be there around 16:30 to set up the gazebo and flags etc. If anyone cares to help that would be great.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Dear Giggolo,

See you have made it back. There has been restlessness amongst HiVis fraternity regarding the meeting point for the trip to the Buggatti hill climb. You need to dig out your cattle prod, Hi Vis arm band and administer some discipline forthwith. Remember I am helping with your errection at Henry Box so see you at 4.30pm. Hope you are not allowing Gordon to put a For Sale notice on the speedster.

OAP sweating my ........ off

Regards,

Kirk

Don't worry Gordon. They'll be too busy trying to keep their burgers dry if our resident meteorologist, Mr Simons, is correct.

At least we'll have the Club gazebo to shelter under irrespective of whether it rains or shines.

Yep. In spite of striking ferry workers breaking down fences and setting light to tyres on the Channel Tunnel railway lines, thus causing Eurostar to be suspended and us to be personally very inconvenienced, we managed to sneak through the Tunnel without being noticed so we're now back in the UK. Fiona is still recovering from the 26 mile yomp through the tunnel fully laden with our luggage and two illegal immigrants in her rucksack.

Naturally, we will have Hi Viz PPE apparel available for you to wear if, after conducting a risk assessment, this is considered necessary.

See you tomorrow at the show site about 16:30.

Took my Porsche to work so should be with you just after 4.30 rain or shine!

Guess the link for the field is the entrance also?

G

Hi Graham, That's right. If you're coming into Witney from the A40, the entrance to the playing field site is about 100 metres on the right after the Premier Inn which is just past Lidl/McDonalds/Esso filling station site. They usually put signs out to help direct visitors so look out for these.

See you later.

Alan.
