xenon bulbs

Was already past, by the time there was enough lock / roll for smoke [:D] he had a good view though - 10 may be an early morning exageration, was probably only 6 [:)]. It regularly made the trip in similar fashion though till the broken crank stopped play.

On another trip along the same stretch of road, I was bringing my sisters car down to my parents for repairs (headlights and front panel), My dad had dropped off me and my brother, and we set off on the return journey. When we got back I asked my Dad if he had seen the black E30 on its roof on one of the roundabouts - the guy was stood beside it scratching his head.
The old man went a bit pale and explained he hadnt seen one on its roof but after it had blocked him for a bit he whistled past and accelerated to around 125 through the next series of bends just before the roundabout where we spotted the BMW he said the BM had made some attempt to keep up - that was a primera eGT not any of the rubbish from BL/rover though.

Tony

and now back on topic
bulbs - decent bulbs of correct wattage, clean lenses and if still unhappy then relays and new feeds (the wires snap eventually at the pivots anyway) and new lenses - my Gran always said carrots helps

Ahhh, Allegros...my first car was an Allegro 1500 LE in bright green metallic, loved that car until one of the ball joints collapsed and I finished up on 3 wheels on the A66!
I seem to remember fitting uprated head lamp bulbs to that too.
