Saturday yes I am in, being a taxi for Jack his "band" has practice, but apart from that ( in best John Idman voice )

Andrew, it would be a pleasure to welcome you to one of our infamous Dakota Club nights. The grease,oil and brake dust is saved for Tuesdays at Sherbrooke, the glamour comes out at Dakota........well, 'til the Lads turn up!

Hi Andrew,

You'd be more than welcome to come along to Dakota or meet up with the petrol heads at Sherbrooke!!! Once bitten you'll not know what's hit you!!! The only stipulation is you'll have to have a white hankerchief in your top pocket and a rose between your teeth so we can tell it's you though!! [;)] Will look forward to meeting you if and when.

Thank you all for the invitations - I usually stay at the Holiday Inn on Queensferry Road so I am really close to the Dakota.

The promises of glamour and being bitten on request have brightened my evening considerably. Now it's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

It's uncanny how Kim has guessed what I was planning to wear.

I suppose none of you have thought about a run down to R7s event this weekend at Raby Castle? Always a good event and the forecast is good. On reflection it is a fair way and then there is the language barrier......

Not planning to head for Raby Castle, but there is a big car show on a Selkirk on Sunday that I'm going to with the guys from TIPEC.

Me too!, Anyone know what the weather is likely to be on Sunday, apart from wet? If it's too wet I'll stay at home and watch the Ryder Cup .

Ok, I will update. Can I just point out though, that this was a poor instruction from the power above (I.e The RO). I did ask if your good lady would be coming along, and he said no. Pay peanuts...get monkeys!

I was in Livi last week and tried to find your place. was going to pop in and say a quick hello. But must have had a blonde day as got lost and ended up giving up!
