Evening, all. I also live in Northallerton half the time and agree with everything Richard said above. I will have my car back from its full body refurb by then so would be delighted to meet up for a "welcome to North Yorkshire" drink and/or a run out over the weekend if you would like some local company. Regards -- Simon Craven

Hi Lisa and Mike, Welcome onboard. The weekend is going to be a humdinger! All we need now is good weather. Numbers are now at 33 with 16 cars attending. We have just about filled Solberge Hall Hotel. The grounds will be full of Porsche's! I have confirmed with management that the wine with our evening meal will be complimentary. Can't wait for the start where we all meet at the Little Chef Cafe/Esso Service Station, A1, half a mile north of junction 38, the A638 Wakefield/Doncaster turn. A slight amendment there. Meet up around 9am but depart when you want in small groups to Harrogate. All will be explained on the morning. Any queries please do not hesitate in contacting me either by email - robin.hainsworth@ntlworld.com or by Mob: 07753545344. We are really looking forward to this WOTY. Kind regards

Hi Everyone, An update on our weekend. I have spoken to Geoff Ives concerning this event and numbers attending? Numbers up to 12 cars does not require any paperwork! Anything over 12 cars requires an enormous amount of work! Geoff is emailing me the necessary paperwork that we are required to complete and I am required to forward to various parties. I was not anticipating this but I am prepared to undertake whatever is necessary to comply with regulations and be legal! The moral to the tale is keep things small. In future events like this will be kept to a minimum number to avoid all this paperwork. Ah well, never mind. I am sure we shall all enjoy a brill weekend in Yorkshire. Kind regards

Hi Robin. Can't you make it 2 seperate WOTYS, 1 from R7 and 1 from R8 ?? John

Hi John, Apparently once car numbers pass 12, regulations kick in. To overcome this I could devise two more tulip runs. I am going to wait for the paperwork to arrive from Geoff and then decide whch is the easier! The two runs I have arranged are really good though. The last thing I want to do is split the group. Kind regards
Hi Robin & Maggie Sorry that the terrific popularity of the your event has caused you this extra paperwork, just let us know if we can be of any help. You are doing a brill job and it is something we all appreciate, even more so during the woty weekend ! Tom & Kerry

Thanks Tom and Laura, I know you are appreciative and I thoroughly enjoy planning these events because as a group we get on so well. Maggie and me are really looking forward to the weekend. It is going to be a cracker!!! An update: The Holiday Inn Harrogate has agreed to allow us to park in their car park area at the International Centre. There is a fee but the parking is secure, private and covered. They will also provide coffee/tea/biscuits and pastries for a small fee if we wish. So when we arrive at Harrogate we need to enter their car park and not the International Centre car park situated next to it. Kind regards

Hi Robin. If you need any help from an R7 point of view, feel free to ask (I may refuse, but you can ask!) Seriously, I could help out with any forms with our region as I usually attend all meetings and meet up with the others who are attending. Cheers. John
