It clashes with the IOM trip or we would have been up.

Hang on - Last years clashed with the IOM trip - is there something you'd like to own up to????

It does clash with the IOM trip sadly...
However it was felt that if one went to the IOM trip then they were unlikely to attend the Yorkshire event the weekend following...? so I couldn't win [:(]
I didn't think that many 997 owners would go after the large numbers that went last year... I'm obviously wrong on that one too [&:]....

Rita, I saw the Fish and chip run, sadly we won't be planning to leave the hotel until 10am (Its a holiday you know [;)]) so we would not arrive until you were leaving... I'll take a look and see if we leave a little earlier and join you.

Change of plan! We are now booked in to join you in Yorkshire!
Must tighten those centre locks again...

Hi Gary

I've just tried to book a room for North Yorks drive and been told all the rooms are taken,
When I look on your list there are 8 names plus 2 locals so not quite sure how that works if you reserved 8 rooms.
If you can work out what's gone wrong I'll take the 8th room otherwise I'll have to drop out.
With the recent rubbish that's been happening I dont think I'll get Caroline to sleep in the car.

Geoff

Main post updated with the list that have booked (according to the hotel reservations.), Geoff there is space for you, however the hotel is full otherwise..

Geoff, I'm pleased its sorted [:)]

The plan is to be at Wetherby services for around midday-1pm departure, so that nobody is worried about the traffic concerns..
I'll be emailing the plans and maps out shortly [:)]

Lets just hope that last week wasn't our summer for 2011....[&:]

I've been suggested a very nice Bistro just down the road from the hotel for dinner on Friday night forthose interested, just looking if they can cater for us and save two nights on the same menu..

garyw

I've sent the maps and information out this evening..[:)]
If you haven't receive it, can you let me know..

The Friday is optional and if you wish to join us at the Bistro on Friday night could you indicate that in order for me to book the numbers at the venue.
I would imagine we'd be at dinner for 7.30-8.00

garyw

I've got all the replies thank you all...
Thats us all at the Bistro [:)]

Weather checking week now.... fingers crossed it stays as is..[8D]

Met Office says cloudy with temps between 12 & 17C. Wind around 12 mph. Visibility very good.
Doesn't sound too bad. [:)]
