Invitation arrived today - I have no intention of entering my car as it's by no means concours so is it just a case of turning up on the day with everyone else ? I am determined to attend an event soon - Tulip Rally has gone by the wayside due to car trouble (clutch master cylinder) - I think I need to meet some people pre Blenheim or it will be a very lonely weekend for me if I do travel to Oxford in July!

Hi Andrew

Yes, just turn up on the day, entry details are in the letter. Strasse and Specialist Cars will be there if you need some advice on clutch master cylinders and there'll be plenty of people to talk to about going to Blenheim!

It'll be nice to see another 914 at Harewood Andrew...I can't remember seeing many in the last few years!

I'll help you park anyway [:D]

See you there!

Andrew

Why not come along and do the Tulip tomorrow in your everyday car ( or someone else's ) . Good way to meet people, good experience and we would be delighted to see you!

Mail me if you fancy a run out.

Andrew

Just got car fixed but may be too late for Tulip????? Sorry to disappoint you dugsud but my car is a 944 - god knows how I ended up with the wrong avitar, must have been on my third glass of red when I was playing around with the settings last week! Am I still invited though??? [:)][:)][:)]

Andrew

Hi folks,

Sorry to jump in.

Is the Harewood House meet the one on the 14th June? I pick my 964 up on the 6th June and it would be a great first show (although not to compete or anything!)

Can non-members turn up and pay on the door?

If so, does anyone know if I have to be in by a certain time to park up, or is it relaxed? Ive got my local beer festival the day before, and dont think i'll make an early start some how!!![&:]

Also hoping to attend - I get my car back 12/06 after engine rebuild following my no show at the tulip rally and this should be my first outing also!

Chris,

You can just pitch up any time you like after the place opens up and no need to be a member. Just pay the entry fee at the main gate and you will be directed to the rather large gathering of Porsches.

Come along and enjoy the day it's usually pretty stunning weather and we get around 400+ cars turn up.

Mark.

Thanks. Sadly not looking so hot at the moment, got hit by flying debris thrown up by truck so has dent in bonnet and on top of a light []

But I still love and hope to get her back in tip top condition shortly, but not before Harewood.

Just bought my first Porsche and this would have been a great day out for me as only an hour away. However I'm in the South of France on holiday, so a bit of a treck now!

Maybe next year and I'll keep my eye out for other events.

There is always Chatsworth on the 28th June, The Porshce club main event at Blenham Palace 11th/12th July, Silverstone Classic 24-26th July and more locally Raby Castle in September (check out the North East R3 for info.

Sunday 14th June. [:)]
