Ok, I've found my vibration and it was actually a dodgy fairly new wheel bearing. Looks like I need a new drivers side spindle, which is probably another 1 year only part. I also snapped a Calliper bolt in much the same way as Tref did.
So I realised I have a pair of 968 spindles with hubs and good discs. Now as far as I can see it's a stronger looking hub with bigger bearings and the offset difference is in the control arms and steering rack? I feel a test swap coming on.
