1st March and two Turbo happy chappies!

ORIGINAL: lowndes

Sorry for the delay. Having arrived home in good order I unloaded the car then moved it whereupon the tracker went off. Have spent the last couple of hours trying to sort it out. Tracker is an awful system in my view but now with a second attempt at remote reset all seems well.

I have little confidence that this will work so will post just one image to see

Nick
Nick, glad you got home safely! Will e-mail re tracker. You lack of confidence in posting photos was well founded! Have sorted it for you!

Alan

Many thanks!

Could you let me know what I am doing wrong. Obviously from what I sent there was enough info (just in the wrong order perhaps!) I have got one or two other shots that I would be happy to post if only I knew how!

Nick

Read my how to post pics thread in this forum

you need to sub IMG for image in all photobucket refs

Alex

I have your original instructions printed out if now somewhat dog eared. However I see that there have been additions since I last printed in 2008. Will study carefully and see if I have more luck.

Nick

Most simple way to post pics is one at a time with the image icon. Copy the direct link from under the thumbnail in photobucket, and then paste that into the image location on the PCGB forum. That will effectively give you something like:
Code:

Sorry, would help more but I only have iPhone access right now

Great cars, guys, many congratulations.

Nothing like a new motor to put a spring in the step and lead in the pencil.

Enjoy.

Looking forward to seeing them both in the flesh - so to speak.

Regards,

Clive

You only need paste the http:// ... .jpg bit into popup you get when you click the little [mountain] button.

Looks like that dealership has a 986 550 Spyder Anniversary in stock ... making it Colchester.

Hi guys, lovely to hear from two very happy chappies!! Lovely cars and what a day to pick them up - enjoy the running in! All the best, John

Beautiful cars gentlemen!

I have managed to hold onto my Gen 2 C2S for 18 months now - these photos don't help; I'm determined to make it to the 991.

As that worked OK I will try one or two more

note that the plastic sticker has been left on airbox part of the intake venturi. I have now taken it off so hope it wasn't essential

Last couple then I must get some proper work done to pay for all this. Sorry that the quality of photos doesn't match Alan's but I was driving slowly so got home much later than him by which time the shadows were lengthening........

.....but if the weather holds up I will try to take a few more tomorrow, plus offer some intitial views on the car..

Two lovely Turbo's.

The Grey is very nice in the bright sun

However I know which one will act like a magnet to any patrolling Plod's eyes.............[:-]

The Red Baron had better ahve all the detection and scrambling gear, if you get my drift...... [8D]
