wow ....these thing happens (that's life and all that :( ), but if you had the car checked before purchase and nothing that the report makes you beware of the car then it down to bad luck , I'm sure no member of this forum will knowingly sell a dodgy car !

I had a few probs pop up when I purchase my 944s even though the previouse owner stated "it was trouble free" that is the pitfall of buying any 20+ years old vehicle .

Basically Chas', if a car is worth restoring, it's got to be from the ground up [;)]. How is your Turbo these days? I thought you were
going to sell it? Changed your mind? You've obviously been keeping up to speed with my life's drama's over my '44 Turbo [8|].
Just don't know what to do mate? Big decisions to make here me thinks [:(]!! Anyway, I've got a couple of people interested at
this moment in time (or so they say-never can tell), but who knows? I'll keep it up for sale over the next couple of weeks and then,
if I still haven't sold Him, I will keep Him and do some more stuff to Him [8D][:D]. I will have to find a local lock up garage to rent
though. I'm certainly not going to leave him on the street! See you at the "Hoon in Joon" Chas'. [:)]

Glad to hear you finally bought a 944 Soli. Welcome to the house of (financial) pain!!! They are fun cars, not cheap cars, and I fear this £700 spend will be just the start of it. (Not a comment on this particular car by the way, more a comment on the age and type of vehicle)
