6-speed box for 944 Turbo

Mark, I've just checked and you are correct - my mistake.

sounds great, I dont follow the racing closely but I got the picture you did very well last year, I reckon with more linear torque delivery (than last year), a light shell and better suspension, they will need to work hard to stay in front.....

I've only heard that the 951 trans is actually more prone to issues with higher hp motors than the 968 although a lot of this could just be internet conjecture.
Some of my info is based on people that have actually made the change. I know a guy in Melbourne who has reached over 400kw to his wheels in an 8v turbo 968 and
he's had no issues with his transmission. Mostly headgaskets due to headlift. Nice car though. Keeps up with Cup Cars at times.
