718 GT4 Service Costs

The reason I got was they don't know where your oil came from and could contaminate the engine ......think the reason is ££££ can get 10lt from various places under £70 and then they charge you £20 for 1ltr top up in a plastic pouch

No surprise that opc's don't let you supply your own oil, I worked in the industry and dealers of all marques enjoy a massive mark up on oil

For my PC, oil has to be supplied unopened and Mobil 1 of the correct grade.

Slightly off topic ...

Not sure how the 718`s servicing differs from the 981 ?

Six year service today, was quoted £957 on booking but with PCGB 10% parts discount paid £905 : Labour @ £374 - Parts @ £381 - VAT @ £150

Labour charge equates to 2.23 hours : Visual Health Check - Intermediate Maintenance : Long Life Guarantee Condition Report : Brake Fluid Change : Water Drains Checked

I could have saved further if I had omitted the screen wash and oil top up and if allowed supplied the 7.5 litres engine oil ... did not ask

Happy to share a breakdown for 718 comparison

L to R : 981 CS 30,000 miles vs 981 GT4 18,000 miles
