You dont need to have the BIG run off area... Just drive within your own limits,,, BUT keep a look out in your mirrors...+ CONCENTRATE...
I remember my 1st T day.. Yes it did seem a tad daunting, but if you take it steady youl be ok....You DONT have to go,, balls out from the start, thats how you end up going off....

Have done a couple of t/day intos, one at Oulton and one at Donnington, but not taken the 994 on track yet.

You are absolutley right about the measured approach - my only worry is the Hamilton wannabes who don't have any consideration to others and try and force their way past at stupid times....[8|]

I will definitely be signing up for some tuition though[:)]

Nick,

We will have to organise another TD when you are around, It will be the back end of the year now for me
as the Hill Climb/Sprint season is very much in full fling and finances can't stretch to both. As Dave said certain cars
don't look in their mirrors and I am sure some newer machinery was not amused by being passed by older water cooled cars.

I know someone was running the same tyres on the TD as you, I will try and find out what he thought of them on track. I suffered hillarious understeer in the morning until a quick KW master class (thanks Dave[;)]) helped sort some of that out. Then putting some sticky rubber on made the S2 really enhanced the day.

When are you off too Lemons?
