Is it just me or the Sales people within the Retail Group are woeful. I experienced terrible service at West London and then contacted Reading. The chap was quick to take my deposit but never responds to emails and has to be chased( I'm not one that is constantly changing specification). He tells me that my revised specification has been sent to the factory but fails to provide a revised order. I've asked him five times!Just wondering if this is the Retail Group experience that others have had?

People's experience with OPC sales teams are variable to say the least. Building a relationship with a sales person can sometimes be a real positive in the longer term, as long as they don't then move on...

Worth a call again as the factory is back up and running after holidays. Did he give you an indicated build date at all? If so he should be able to interrogate the system to tell whether the car has been built/shipped etc.

I have now been told that cars scheduled for November/Dec delivery are being pushed back to Feb/ March. Dealers allocation have been pulled as some cars are missing certain options .. It is no different at Mercedes-Benz and BMW, so no surprise there.

I have been told by the Sales Manager, that they have lost a lot of their allocation due to microchip shortage. Mercedes-Benz have exactly the same issue, as is BMW. Cars are being built at the factory without certain options ( a small number). December cars are specification changeable and delivery is now February .

I'm Interested in the GTS, I'm going to head down to my Local dealer next week for a chat, How are the allocations on these?
