944 wheels - Your pictures please

Yours are are a tad lighter than my rears but that is probably due to the slight difference in size, mine are 8.5 .
What tires are you running ? I have 205/255 and i get a lot of understeer ,i will probably change the rears to 225 in the future to fix that.

Would these fit a late 944?
They will never fit with stock fenders , max size you could fit would be 11x18 with the right offset ,tire and rolled fenders.

Thanks for confirming - I won't bother bidding in that case...

Any idea about the other set?

1st set no way! Far 2 much rubber anyway.

2nd set will fit. Based on my 18" wheels, which are comfortable close( pretty much perfect ) and my cars lowered but nicely not half the tire in the wheel arch low.

I'm running 8.5 et47 up front, the inside off the wheel just clears the m030 brake face.
Rear 10j 50et with no arch issues. However mine are factory rolled. Did have them on my S which I rolled the arches just 2 be sure.

Basically that 2nd set should give u 6 mm less arch fill front and 5mm rear.
Also give u 5/7 mm more inner clearance so you should be ok.

+1 ,second set should be pretty much perfect but i would change the tires to something more suitable to the 944.

Yep, just buying the wheels there. Right tires 4 them
Would be 225/40/18 front so u could use his rears 4 that. 255/266 35 18 4 the rear.

Them wheels look like there easy 2 curb the centres b4 the rim. Bemind fall off that

I have a set of 8J wheels there, all Boxster rears, all with 225/45/17's

Or in other words...

Those wheels look like they are easy to curb the centres before the rims, be mindful of that.[&:]

Yes the 225 would go on the front and 255 35 18 for the rear . With 265 the speedo will be off , 255 is the right size.

Nice , a square setup is best but in my case i prefer to keep the 205's on the front because i have manual steering.

I have some 18" turbo twists for sale in the for sale section, not looking for a lot of cash for them as they are reps. But think they would look smart on 944.

EDH, though they are Cup 2 stylee those ETA Beta rims look great on that car.

..from a distance

They were badly curbed & had lots of lacquer lifting / milky so needed a complete refurb (not cheap on split rims with a million bolts..)

Nice deep dish though, and not as heavy as some split rims
