I said, Brake.

That's a cracking pic of my car Kev (on the odd occasion that it was working [:-])..can you e-mail it to me? [:)]

It was a pleasure to organise the day for you guys. It was fantastic to see you all enjoying yourselves and 964s being put through their paces. My thanks go to:

Paul for managing the one spin of the day [:D]
Baz for the very impressive fish tail from the start gate...well held sir! [8D]
Jo for opening up the on-site cafe (there was a tenner left over from the fees so gave that to Jo on your behalf) [:)]
Tim for his non-stop instruction (but not from smoking my tyres on his sighting laps [:D])
The guys who waited to check my car would start at the end of the day, to ensure I could get home [&:]
David from Shenstone and District car club for letting us use the full sprint course at the end....they don't let just anyone use that bit [;)]

Steve (the noise tester) will be e-mailing me all the exhaust noise tests. Let me know if you want me to pass your reading on to you.

I'll check my videos tomorrow but here are the few pics I managed between looking after the starting gate. They really do not do justice to a day of 20+ 964s plus other Porsches:

Great photo's Steve,

If anyone wants one of mine, I'll try and thumbnail them here with no:s, then if there's one you want, just email me (964kevin at Gmail dot com). hopefully the spiders and bots won't see that as an email address........

cheers

I was gutted to have had to pull out of the day, but glad to hear it went really well - thanks to my father for ringing me up and rubbing it in btw....[8|][:D]

I am determined to get the car on track before the end of the year, so all being well should be spinning furiously at a venue near you soon....[8|][:D]

Hope Steve gets his immobiliser issues resolved soon.

Thanks for a great day, really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere & i look forward to the next bash

Despite being the slowest driver on the track [8|] (It was definately the driver's fault and not the car's), still had a great time[:)]

Hope we can make this a regular event!

Tim for his non-stop instruction (but not from smoking my tyres on his sighting laps )

First chance I've had to post since Saturday as I was at Rockingham all day yesterday with ChrisW!

No problem Steve! I really enjoyed the day! Sorry about the smokey tyres! When you have to learn a new track quickly you need to push on a bit to find the best line... well that's my excuse!

The trouble is, 911's are so addictive to me because they work so well with a bit of tail slide. In the brief 4 laps that I drove yours it felt well sorted!

I didn't count how many different cars I instructed in, was it all of them? Is that some kind of record? LOL The instructing wasn't easy because of the short amount of time with each driver and the lack of time between corners... I couldn't talk fast enough! But I hope those who had instruction found it useful!

It was good to meet everybody, some again, some new. A really enjoyable day!

Hopefully this Video link will work--totally uncut recordings as & when I got the opportunity to video.

I don't know how to make these "live" links.

Sorry for my voice over & any indiscetions, but you would want to hear the engines.

Whoops;-they don't seem to have uploaded to Youtube yet-will investigate

The links look live to me. Big videos take a while to process before they become available. I will keep checking them periodically. [;)]

Dave and myself have just received a load of photos from Steve and Cath Marchbank. Will post some up when I've had chance to look through them.

Yes. Spoke to the owner, nice job, normally its apparently cleaner, but that day the weather was pretty firece, it looks good on those rims, and suits the colour nicely don't you think.
