964 RS price info

Hi,

Thanks for your messages. Yesterday evening, the expert called me to tell me that he was going to take more information and will call me today (I'm waiting...).
It's sure that if the estimation gives a higher price, the insurance will be more expensive but... 40.000€ ??? For a 1/18 model scale...??? That's what I told him yesterday and he was "nearly sorry" to have estimated it at this price. Of course if Red Baron is underestimated...??? I just ask the correct price if...

John,
About the company. I'm going to ask to my company if they would agree a valuation done from the PCGB.

About the PCGB, I've paid to be PCGB member and see that now under my login is written guest of the club. Am I a Bad Boy???[>:] (Surely... [:D])

As soon as Red Baron will be insured, I will do a trip with it. I'd like to do a tour in England. There's so long time that I haven't been in UK and most of the time at London but... Many things and places have to be seen I'm sure...Like in France and Italy that I have crossed in all directions because I have lived and still have some family in France and in Italy I also have some family and many friends in the whole country.
2009 (34 days) 4500 miles through Italy until Sicily. But with the Rover...
2010 (26 days) 3400 miles France... Cote d'Azur and its hinterland until Monaco... Italy I've followed the coast until The island of Elba have after taken the direction of Toscana (Siena) have been to Rome (to see some friends, eat icesssssssssssssssssssss cream...) YES! RED Baron in the Traffic at Rome but The Italian is very Respectful with the strangers and... If it's a nice mechanic ... Woaw... Respect! Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd... If a nice mechanic is driven by a.... Woaw Woman...[8D] she has the red carpet... [sm=kiss.gif][sm=kiss.gif] About this... I've never seen a woman RS owner... Does this exist???

After Rome it was Perugia in Umbria (family) and to finish return home by Firenze, Bologna, Modena, Milano... Switzerland Lugano... France (Mulhouse Strasbourg do you know???[8|]) Luxembourg and Liège...

I'll probably do a shorter trip this year... After... Snetterton...[;)] Then... Maybe 2 weeks in GB until Snetterton and after direction Italy (if some are interested...???) But... If some of you are interested for next year... We can plan a trip like we did this year (thanks for it Martin). In a next email I will send you some addresses to have an idea, to see some places. About these trips I've always travelled without reservation and have always found where to sleep. Often B&B and simple but good places to eat and secured parking for the car. About France and Italy... The best for a trip are June and September because prices are much lower, less people and the sun is still there... I'd like to do the same in England and going to some car/Porsche events if there are some interesting ones during these days, driving on scenic roads, visiting nice cities, places like we did by passing like at Nancy"¦ Because it's sure to visit a place we need time and 10-15 days it's short but"¦ It's possible to see interesting places/landscape/events"¦ and I would finish by Snetterton. Already thanks to David, Martin, Saz, Chris who have already proposed to help, guide, offer me their hospitality"¦ I already know that it won't be the only travel that I will do to England now"¦ And, if you come to Francorchamps"¦ I'm 40' far from Francorchamps. If, you're going to the Nüburgring"¦ The highway is passing 10' from home"¦ Stop at Liège! You're WELCOME!!! Hope to be well understood... [8|] you make me practice (and improve I hope) my English. That's now a long time that I don't have the opportunity to "talk"...

Hi Jean Marc , the PCGB contact for valuation is Steve Kevlin , I suspect he will pass 964RS stuff to Melvin !
If you come to England I'd be happy to help out with accommodation either London or Cheshire ( near Manchester).
You can help me out with wine selection , am currently drinking 2006 Grand Cru St Emilion to celebrate surviving another Oulton Park trackday [:D]

Kevlin does his own valuations...only too happy to help but I do need to see the car!

When r u coming over? Brooklands museum just down the road from me -the birthplace of British motor racing and aviation.....

Hi John,

Thanks for the info.
I'm still waiting for the expert... Maybe he'll call on Monday or I will... Each day which pass slow down me in my program.
Thank you for your proposition and help too.
Actually I'm trying to do a "logical" plan of a tour with all your kind propositions and to try to see you all... to a manifestation if there is one where most of you will go...???

About your wine selection among the St Emilion you have some like...
Château Angélus, Château Ausone, Château Canon, Château Canon La Gaffelière, Château Cheval Blanc, Château La Gaffelière, Château Larmande, Château Pavie, Château Pavie-Macquin, Château Troplong Mondot, Château-Figeac"¦ And many many others"¦ Which ones are you used to drink??? And what about the prices...? Bordeaux is full of marvelous wines in different other labels/appellations. Tell me more and hope to see you soon. J-M
