991 Owners Cars

Says he who now drives a McL. [:D] The 911 was always on the cards, just the amount you need to add to get to this level is rather a lot ...

Lovely looking 991 Paul. Thought I recognised that number plate from when it was on a Zed! [:)] Cheers, Nick

Indeed Nick, first time the plate has been been on a non BMW. First on my 740, then on two Zeds and now on the 911. Are you a 991 owner now as well?

Just got myself a nice 991 GTS, new to the club and looking forward to attending some event. I've had a 996 C2S Cab and 997 C2S coupe in the past before moving to Ferrari which was nice but I missed the 911 so back with a bang in the GTS. I would post pics but can't figure out how?

Yeah, posting pictures is a bit odd on this site compared to other forums. Easiest I found was to host it off-site , say on photo bucket, and link it. Quote my post for example and look at the format that is required which is a bit different from the norm.

thanks I'll try that

I thought I'd support fellow 'White' car owners and post a couple of pictures of my new car :) I've not had a car for 5 years, never had a white car before but after 1000's attempts on the configurator this is what I came up with and I do like the contrast. But the Turbo S looks awesome in Agate Grey mind you.

That's a pretty big jump from no car to that car [:D] Congratulations on your purchase, looks fantastic.

Looking great indeed, and soon you will be able to judge the length of it as well for the parking space [:D]

Amusing comments😀 I was told never to trust the parking sensors. In its correct parking place there's not a lot of room at all, I have to trust the neighbours but a car cover does calm the nerves a little.

Hi Guys, haven't been a Porsche member (or owner) for 10 years and finally joined the fold in April. Good to be back! Bought an 991 C2S PDK in Guards Red, ex-Porsche GB car and loving it so far. Previous was a 997 C2S Cab and heaven knows how many 996, 993 and even 912 before that. Anyone going to the Barbecue this Sunday at PGB?

Hi Martin Fantastic choice of car!! Though I would say that... Have you joined PCGB? If so there's another bbq you may be interested in. Drop me a pm at 991@porschclubgb.com

Hi peter yes sure have re-joined the club, after a 9 year break buying other cars. Seen the light though! Anyone going to the Barbeque this Sunday at Cornbury?
