A big mistake?

Tony - I wouldn't call it special, just affordable. Hopefully.

Photos once I get it - the current owner took some on his mobile but they're a bit blurry.

Hi Craig

Long time no speak! Glad you got sorted with the '44 but very sad to hear you've sold the 993. Do you still go to the TIPEC meetings in the TV? Hoping to catch up with you either at TIPEC or PCGB meets - aiming to be at the R19 meeting in February.

All the best
Chris

You will be most welcome at the February meeting but Feb is our bring your other car meeting so dig out your junk metal for this one.

Hi Chris

Funny that - just came across another post of yours earlier today and wondered why we haven't seen you for so long!. Can't beleive you've sold the 928! Mind you, love the indea of that TT.

I'll hopefully be at the Bird In Hand next month, and at The Novello for the Tipec meet. You're not keeping up to date - I'm the RO for Tipec Thames Valley now! Send me your email address and I'll make sure you get the regular updates, and it'll be great to see you at the meet on the 1st Tuesday. The chaps have been wondering where you are!

By the way, the title of the thread has an answer. It's yes.

Cheers, Craig

The 928 is well missed, I assure you. However, the new car is just something else. Have fallen completely in love with it. Has all the mod cons AND still has the power of the 928 (and more!). What a combination. Love it!

Heh heh - OK - Email address sent to you via PM on this site. When you Email me, could you remind me where the Novello is? Can't remember. However, I do remember The Bird In Hand but not sure I'll be there for the next meeting because of the "bring your other car" thing. I'm up for going to a Porsche meeting IN a Porsche but not sure whether there is much value going along in the shed, to be honest. We'll see how we go.

Chat to you about that when I see you! All the best. Glad to hear you stood up for the RO job. Looking forward to seeing who still goes to the Thames Valley meetings for TIPEC.

Catch you later
Chris

There'll be plenty of Pork there I'm sure. Me for one if Anna's new car hasn't arrived by then.

Craig - has Simon had the head off the '44 yet?

Literally just up the road from the Bird in Hand, towards Maidenhead on the other side. It's on a bend though and you're at maximum risk of shooting straight past if you're troubling those turbos...! See you there
