Anyone else excited?

So, are you saying that Button`s seven years of infullfilled promise is down to being down the pub with you when he should have been practising his driving?
jr.

[:D] Don't forget that he comes from Frome so I would bet that after a few beers the posh playboy pretence is dropped and he sounds more like a Wurzels record.

Ref your comment JR, re. Button / Henman, the latter's won nothing big ever, and is just one of a pool of about 100 jobbing tennis pro's. Master Button has won a GP, and won it well, and in a very exclusive pool of about 25, and is regarded by most journo's as one of the most talented bods out there. If only he'd not nailed his colours to the Honda flagpole . . . . . . .

I agree with both of you guys. As much as a I like Button looking around at the other guys like Kimi, Alonso, Hamilton etc. I can't see Button ever becoming F1 world champ unless he gets a vastly better car then the other guys. However at the end of last season he was the most consistent points scorer so it is not like he has suddenly forgotten the way round the track, just a mega duff car.

Does anyone know what the cause is of that aero problem?

I think Button won more points in the second half of last season than anyone else, or something like that, so he does have potential. I thought the problem with the Honda (last season at least) was not aerodynamic but suspension as for some reason it is too easy on tyres and cannot build enough heat into the tyres. Sounds like he needs some KW coilovers and Weltmiester ARB's!!
